Check your local time zone.<\/a><\/p>\n This dissertation researches learning in online classrooms.\u00a0Those who participate are known as \u2018posters\u2019, those who\u00a0remain silent, \u2018lurkers\u2019. Online learning has grown\u00a0exponentially since 2020, due to Covid-19 and use of\u00a0technology. Education can be accessed via internet\u00a0platforms in real-time or asynchronously. This began as a\u00a0portfolio of how I taught online, grew to a pilot study and\u00a0then to an investigation focusing on those who identify as\u00a0\u2018lurkers\u2019 to understand how they learn. The methodology\u00a0follows an interpretivist approach.
